David Kahan, DPM, is the “old guy” at Sacramento Foot & Ankle and practices at Rocklin, Folsom, Carmichael, and Sacramento, California office locations.
He has been practicing in the Sacramento area since 1995, specializing in the conservative care of most foot and ankle conditions. Still, when surgery is necessary, he is surrounded by a highly trained team of Podiatrists at Sacramento Foot & Ankle.
Dr. Kahan is California born and raised and completed his undergraduate studies in 1984 at the University of California at Davis (UC Davis) and graduated from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery (CPMS) in Des Moines, Iowa.
One of his favorite quotes from Theodore Roosevelt, “no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care,” has been a practice mantra he has lived by. As a result, he has garnered and humbled by a reputation that sits atop the Google and YELP ratings for area Podiatrists.
When not engaged with patients, Dr. Kahan enjoys family time with his wife and 3 grown boys, playing Pickle Ball, hiking and studying comedy lines that he can entertain his patients with.
He looks forward to working with his patients to help maintain or improve their active lifestyles.
