Byunghee “Kevin” Kim, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist at Sacramento Foot and Ankle Center in Carmichael, California. He specializes in forefoot and rearfoot surgery procedures.

After moving to San Francisco from Busan, Korea, Dr. Kim graduated from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, as a biology major, minoring in applied mathematics. He then earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with honors from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland before finishing his surgical residency at Veterans Hospital in Palo Alto, California.

During residency, Dr. Kim received hands-on training at Stanford Medical Center, Kaiser Medical Foundation, and various private offices and surgical centers in the Bay Area. To round out his education, Dr. Kim completed a fellowship at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where he specialized in trauma, reconstructive foot and diabetic limb salvage and preservation. The university is one of the few in the country to offer this specialization. Dr. Kim is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

Adding to his extensive experience, Dr. Kim served as the wound care director at the University of Louisville Hospital before joining Sacramento Foot and Ankle Center.
