Dr. Nina Todd’s mission is to provide a full range of pain-free ambulation by listening and caring.
She was born in China to Russian parents. At the age of three, she traveled to Chile where she grew up. She moved to San Francisco with her parents in 1965 and made it her home. Her interests are in biomechanics, wound care, and geriatrics. She attended the University of San Francisco and graduated with a major in basic medical sciences and received her doctorate from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1977. Dr. Todd has devoted her medical career to the people of San Francisco for 40 plus years. She has a multicultural background and fluency in Russian, Spanish, English, and French that has enabled her to establish good relations with a diverse patient population. She strives to achieve a close understanding of her patient’s needs. In order to do this, time is spent listening and understanding the nature of the pain.
Dr. Todd has been married to Dr. William Todd for 42 years. They have two sons of whom they are very proud. Michael is a computer engineer and Nicholas, followed in their footsteps, is a foot and ankle surgeon. A huge source of joy comes from her four grandchildren aging from 5-13 years.
