Dr. Naleen Prasad board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is board eligible in Foot and Ankle Surgery. She received her B.A. in Psychology from San Jose State University in 1997. She then graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 2004 before completing a three-year surgical residency at City of Angels/Baja Project for Crippled Children in Los Angeles. Dr. Prasad had the privilege of being the chief resident of the BAJA project for 2 years and traveled to countries such as Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico for surgical mission trips.
Dr. Prasad’s residency training emphasized pediatric foot and ankle care as well as sports medicine and biomechanics, therefore she has interest and expertise in these fields. She is also trained in the Ponsetti casting technique for the treatment of clubfoot. After completing her residency in 2007 and starting private practice, Dr. Prasad returned to the Bay Area where she lives with her husband, Atish and their son, Aryan.
