Dr. Mher Vartivarian is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, and California Podiatric Medical Association. He grew up in Houston and received a B.S in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Houston in 2005. He graduated with honors from the California School of Podiatric Medicine in 2009 and completed a three-year residency at Kaiser Permanente North Bay Consortium, receiving training for foot and ankle surgery with reconstructive rearfoot and ankle privileges. His specific interests are in foot and ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine, and reconstructive surgery. In addition, he enjoys teaching students, residents, and fellows.
After spending significant time in the Bay Area, he decided to stay in Northern California with his wife Christy. They have a beautiful daughter Sofie, who they love spending time with. Dr. Vartivarian enjoys going to sporting events and concerts, cooking/BBQing, and spending time with his family and friends.
