The podiatrists at Bay Area Foot Care each received conventional medical training plus special training on the foot, ankle, and lower leg. Our doctors are well trained in foot and ankle surgery, and are experts in delivering care for complex foot disorders suffered by diabetic patients as well as common foot problems including bunions, hammertoes, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis (heel pain) and shin splints. Our doctors also have extensive knowledge and experience in diabetic and charcot foot reconstruction.
Though our physicians are qualified to treat a wide range of foot, ankle, and lower leg conditions, there are certain instances when a specialist may be necessary. Bay Area Foot Care has access to a wide range of foot and ankle sub-specialists, and will refer you to one when necessary. As a patient, you will have your own treating physician. In the event that your doctor is not available, another one of our physicians or physicians assistants will certainly accomodate you so that there is no loss in the continuity of care..
At Bay Area Foot Care, it is our belief that continuing post-graduate education is essential in providing the best long term care for our patients. At certain times throughout each year, our podiatrists may take a leave from the practice for the purpose of teaching and learning advances in podiatric medicine and surgery. In a doctor’s absence, another podiatric physician in our clinic will be available for your immediate care questions.
In addition to our highly trained physicians, our office is staffed with devoted personnel who provide comprehensive, compassionate care during all phases of your treatment.
